BlizzCon Tickets Go On Sale In June

by Tim Turi on May 18, 2010 at 12:35 PM

When you accept a quest in World of Warcraft, sometimes it will send you to the far reaches of Azeroth where feral beasts and the enemy faction lurks. When you purchase a ticket to BlizzCon after they go on sale June 25, it will send you to Anaheim, California to converge with other gamers who love to geek out over Blizzard games.

The convention takes place October 22 and 23 at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Blizzard’s most loyal fans will converge there to lose their minds over StarCraft II, Diablo 3, and World of Warcraft’s Cataclysm expansion. There will also be panels, tournaments, contests, and demos of upcoming Blizzard games.

"BlizzCon is a unique opportunity for our players to meet one another, strengthen the friendships they've formed online, and have a great time celebrating a shared passion for gaming together with Blizzard employees," said Blizzard CEO and cofounder, Mike Morhaime. "For those who can't attend, we're pleased to be providing an unprecedented level of access to the activities and attractions that BlizzCon has to offer."

Prepare to shell out $150 for your ticket to fun, which can be purchased at the BlizzCon website. You’ll have two shots at gaining admission to the show; June 2 at 7:00pm and June 5 at 10:00am (pst). If you’ve already got a Battle.net account (which if you’re planning to go to BlizzCon, you should), you can look forward to a simplified ticket purchasing process.
