EA's MySims Takes To The Skies

The Sims franchise has achieved remarkable success on PC. The MySims spin-off series hasn't exactly captured the magic of the core entries, but EA is keeping it alive with another entry, MySims: Sky Heroes.

While the first MySims game was focused more on player creativity and creation, subsequent entries have veered more into other genres. As the name implies, Sky Heroes will have players flying planes while shooting down evil drones, completing challenges, and taking down bosses. The series' creation elements will make an appearance by letting players customize their aircraft.

Sky Heroes is slated for a September release, and will be coming to the Wii and DS (as usual) in addition to branching out to the PS3 and Xbox 360.
