Today Valve officially unveiled the public release date for the Mac version of Steam. Apple fans eager to boot up Valve's downloadable, cloud computing service on their computers have less waiting time than they might thing.

May 12 is the day to mark on your calendars. You only have to wait 13 days until you can legitimately load up Left 4 Dead 2 or Team Fortress 2 via Steam on your Mac.
