Mega Man Zero Collection Coming To DS In June
True Mega Man fans have already chewed up and spit out everything Mega Man 10 has to offer (including yesterday’s new DLC). Those fans won’t have to wait until the next new title is announced either, because a Mega Man X-flavored treat is coming this June in the form of Mega Man Zero Collection.
The game will be available June 8 for DS at the price of $29.99. The Mega Man Zero series follows X’s maverick hunting comrade Zero in a conflict addled future. The blond-haired badass wields the deadly Z-saber energy sword and a plethora of other awesome weapons. He’ll need every gadget he can get, too, because the Zero games are some of the hardest Mega Man games out there (and you thought Mega Man 10 was rough).
It appears that the Mega Man Zero Collection is taking a note from Mega Man 10 in regards to making it a little more accessible to casual fans of the series. A new easy mode will be available to taper off the series’ unforgiving difficulty. Considering that Mega Man 9 & 10 and the Zero series were all developed by Inti Creates, it makes sense they are carrying over easy mode from Mega Man 10.
Four Mega Man games on one cart? Looks like my other frequented DS collection game is going to have some competition! No wonder Capcom is “mega busting with joy” in their press release.
