Sony Dubs Secondary Move Controller ‘Navigation Controller’

Today is a momentous day for people who like calling things by their actual names. The official title for the PlayStation Move’s secondary controller has been revealed through FCC documents. Now, instead of calling it “that thing with the analog stick,” you can refer to that thing with the analog stick by its official name, the Navigation Controller. That wasn’t so hard now, was it?

Just so we’re all square on Sony’s preferred Move nomenclature, that wand thing that you wave around isn’t called a wand, but is in fact the Motion Controller. And when it’s paired with the Navigation Controller, it will make your wildest dreams come true. Regardless of what you ultimately call the things, they'll be on store shelves this fall.
