Cast Your Vote In Time’s 2010 Top 100 Poll

by Meagan Marie on Apr 06, 2010 at 04:57 AM

As it does every year, Time is asking you to weigh in on the most influential people of 2010. Essentially an internet popularity contest, the most influential people of the year are decided by fans who rally their peers to support a favorite personality. This year a few notable gaming names made the cut. While pop-culture figures Lady GaGa, Rain, Conan O’Brien and Robert Pattinson all sit pretty in the top 10, the Penny Arcade guys (who recently took home the Ambassador Award at this year’s Game Developer Choice ceremony) are trending at number 11. Not bad. They’ve beat out President Obama and Susan Boyle, anyway.

Steve Jobs currently sits at number 49 and iconic game developer Peter Molyneux at 61. Gamer-friendly Jimmy Fallon falls just outside the top 100 at position 101.

If you feel so motivated, there is still time to throw your vote behind your favorite leader, artist, innovator or icon. The most popular person on the internet will be revealed on April 29.

Any noteworthy industry figures you would add to the list?
