Weekend Warrior 04/02/10

Tim: The Final Fantasy XIII grind continues. I’m over 30 hours in and am really enjoying advancing my Crystarium. Off to the side I’ve been plugging away at Perfect Dark and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles. It’s gonna be a pretty busy weekend for all three consoles.

Annette: This weekend I'm headed to Chicago for my nephew's birthday party/Easter, so I'm taking my DS along for the trip. I'll wrap up my copy of Pokémon and maybe dig in to Dragon Quest V. I bought DQV months ago and still haven't cracked it open. I'm having shoulder surgery in two weeks so I need to get as much gaming in as I can before extended immobilization begins. Home console marathon commences next week right up until surgery day.

Jeff M: I really want to get back into Mass Effect 2 and finish the game before I hear any more potential spoilers (this week's staff meeting was tip-toeing into some dangerous territory). That said, I’m sure the new map packs for Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will also suck up some precious hours, and Kratos is still waiting for me to help him kill off some Gods and stuff. Lousy Gods.

Dan: This weekend should be fun, as my old roommate is coming up from Kansas City to visit. There will be drinking, a belated viewing of Wrestlemania XVI, and gaming going on for the next few days. Debating giving Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 a try, but I don’t think either of us has especially high hopes for it.

Sean: I’ll spend my weekend continuing the house hunt as well as cuddling up with my new found love – Just Cause 2. It’ll be a Square Enix weekend if I can finally start Final Fantasy XIII, too. Also, a side project I’ve been working on with a buddy should start beta, which is fun.

Meagan: I would love to play a game this weekend, but it probably won’t happen. I’ve got some side projects to work on and a few custom Munny commissions I need to finish. Then there are some dumb “adult” things that need to be taken care of around the house. If I do have time, however, I plan on polishing off the General Knoxx DLC in Borderlands. I finally dinged at level 50, so the crazy Crimson Lance/ninja/assassin women aren’t kicking my ass as much as before. Payback time.
