DJ Hero Standalone Controllers On Sale With Exclusive Poster

In our interview with Activision’s Bobby Kotick, the controversial CEO claimed that the company was sticking with its DJ Hero franchise for the long haul. That claim seemed to be confirmed today with the announcement that Activision is now selling standalone turntable controllers for the game at retailers nationwide.

For those looking to add another turntable to their set-up, the controllers retail for an MSRP of $59.99. The first thousand lucky buyers will receive a free poster (pictured above) packed in with their turntable, a rendering of the game’s characters by artist Shepard Fairey, a renowned graphic designer best known for his long-running “Obey” viral campaign and, most recently, the iconic Barack Obama “Hope” poster.
