Bankruptcy Hits Little King's Story Developer

Cing, the developer of Hotel Dusk and Little King's Story, filed for chapter 11 on March 1.

According to Data-Max, the company’s debt exceeds 200 million yen (about 2.5 million in U.S. buckaroos). Known for creating critically adored games but market clunkers, the company’s small niche of dedicated followers clearly isn’t enough to keep them afloat.

Previous titles from Cing like Little King’s Story and Hotel Dusk were a blast. We hope the developer can pull itself out of its financial debt and create a game that gets people talking (and pulling out their wallets).
