Sony Trademarks “PlayStation Arc” In Japan

Despite the fact that Sony hasn’t officially announced the little device’s name, there have been a lot of rumors going around that Sony’s new wand peripheral will be christened Arc. Well the circumstantial evidence just keeps piling up.

According to gaming site Siliconera.com Sony has filed a trademark for something called PlayStation Arc in Japan. We don’t know for sure that PlayStation Arc is the same wand device that we saw at E3 last year, but – come on, guys – what else would it be?

Sony maybe it’s time to make an official announcement.
