DSi XL Launching March 2010, Price Revealed

Today at Nintendo’s Q1 Media Summit, Cammie Dunaway revealed the stateside release date of the next iteration of the DSi. Nintendo fans that can’t wait to get their hands on the bigger and badder DSi XL don’t have long to wait.

On March 28, 2010, you can be the proud owner of the new DSi XL, complete with huge screens and stylus. The price point for the new handheld will be $189.99. The DSi XL has been out in Japan since November.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has said in the past that the DSi XL is designed "to offer a new play style, where those who are surrounding the game player can also join in one way or the other to the gameplay."

Sounds like a great way for everyone on the bus to know what you’re playing and why exactly you’re blowing on your DS. Will you be picking this up come March 28?
