New DLC Coming To Original Left 4 Dead

If you're still among those who said Valve abandoned Left 4 Dead in favor or churning out a sequel for a "quick buck," prepare to further eat your words. At X10 today Valve talked about  brand new DLC for the first Left 4 Dead that will tie together with the upcoming The Passing DLC for Left 4 Dead 2.

It was announced awhile ago that Left 4 Dead 2 will be receiving a new DLC campaign called The Passing, in which the new cast meets the old. This new DLC for the original will tell the tale of how Zoey, Bill, Louis, and Francis all came to find the L4D2 survivors. This sounds a lot like the back story of how peanut butter met chocolate; delicious.

Details are scarce about the new DLC, but you should expect to dust off the original L4D sometime around April. We'll be sure to inform you as soon as we know more.
