Blizzard Offers In-Game WOW Pets With Real-Life Plushies
When Blizzard launched its online Pet Store for World of Warcraft in November, many WOW players and non-WOW players alike scoffed at the idea of blowing $10 on in-game non-combat pets that don't have any real use. Others (such as myself) mindlessly spent money on the pets because OMG THAT PANDAREN MONK IS CUTE. Whichever camp you fell into, Blizzard looks to be offering more incentive for future WOW Pet Store purchases.
According to a post on the official World of Warcraft website, Blizzard will be launching a new line of pet store purchases in the coming weeks. Unlike the previous two options, though, you'll now be able to buy real-life plush toys that will ship with a code for unlocking an in-game World of Warcraft version of said pet. Best of all, the plushies look freakin' adorable.
So we all already know that I'm a sucker who will jump on these toys immediately. What about the rest of you? Anyone who's going to check these out?
