Nintendo Publishing Mistwalker's The Last Story

Hironobu Sakaguchi is the creator of the Final Fantasy series, which will be seeing its 13th installment in March on PS3 and Xbox 360. While Wii owners may not be getting Square Enix's big RPG, they will see a suspisciously similarly named series, The Last Story, from Sakaguchi's Mistwalker studio.

According to the game's official page, The Last (or "final") Story (or "fantasy") will be published by Nintendo and released in Japan in 2010. There is currently no information available on a U.S. release, but Mistwalker's previous major projects, like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, eventually made their way Stateside...so odds are looking pretty good.
