Kotick Keynoting 2010 D.I.C.E. Summit
Bobby Kotick has been in the news a lot lately, what with his quotes from our February issue of Game Informer where he mentions Activision’s past with Blizzard and the future of the DJ Hero franchise. It looks like we’re going to be hearing a lot more from him in 2010, as the Activision CEO is set to speak about creative talent in the gaming industry at the upcoming D.I.C.E. Summit.
“Bobby Kotick has believed in the power of interactive entertainment his entire career,” said president of the AIAS , Joseph Olin. “The growth of Activision Blizzard, from bankruptcy to an industry leader is attributable to his unwavering drive to develop a studio model that fosters creativity to deliver great games. Activision Blizzard is home to some of the most talented developers in our industry and we are thrilled to have Bobby’s insight on how great games are built upon great talent.”
Kotick will speak at D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) on February 18. We look forward to hearing what the candid corporate figure has to say about the video game industry as a whole. What kind of quotes do you think will make headlines after the keynote?
