Available Today! God Of War 3 Goodies On District 9 Blu-Ray

Just a friendly reminder to PlayStation 3 owners: Today marks the release of District 9 on Blu-ray and DVD. I haven't seen the film yet, so I can't speak to its quality, but I can say that the Blu-ray version is worth picking up for the God of War demo and the exclusive making-of feature. (It's the same demo from E3 that's available either as a God of War 3 pre-order bonus or with the first batch of the God of War Collection.)

You'll have to play through the demo to see the behind-the-scenes video, which features lead combat designer Adam Puhl and senior combat designer Jason McDonald talking about the game's lighting effects and combat grapple maneuvers. Once you've beaten the demo you've already experienced everything that the two discuss, but it's still interesting to see designers discussing their craft.
