New Super Street Fighter IV Screens Feature Hippos, Eclipses

Capcom has been unwavering in their belief that Super Street Fighter IV deserves its own standalone retail release, and all the evidence points towards them being right. Even if they "just" added eight new fighters, that would almost be too much for a DLC add-on. However, new screens show off multiple new stages, including what appears to be an African plain, a construction site, an Indian marketplace, Seth's lab in mid-destruction, and a Final Fight-themed area.

With all of these new characters, stages, and online modes, this is seeming like an incredibly solid offering for Street Fighter fans, especially if they sell it at a reduced MSRP as promised. Even if they don't, I think the look on this giraffe's face is enough to warrant at least $60.
