Gearbox Squashes Pesky Borderlands Bugs

A month and a half ago we reported on some serious bugs that were scaring gamers away from playing Borderlands online. The bugs, which resulted in players randomly losing skills points, proficiencies, and items when playing online, essentially turned Borderlands’ awesome co-op experience into a game of Russian roulette. That all changed this weekend (for Xbox 360 owners at least) with a new update that not only fixes these problems, but restores the lost skill points to its affected victims.
 
The full list of fixes can be found on Gearbox’s support forums. The PS3 and PC updates are being worked on and should be out soon. Finally, it’s safe to plunder the planet of Pandora with your friends!
