Need For Speed: Shift DLC Introduces Online Team Racing

Electronic Arts is releasing its first DLC for Need for Speed: Shift, and it features a new online racing mode and five new cars. This DLC will be available December 1st on Xbox Live and December 10 for PlayStation Network for free.

The new online Team Racing mode lets two teams duke it out for first place, with each one consisting of up to six racers a side. This not only ups the game's multiplayer numbers, but it also makes the mode a chaotic free-for-all where you're simultaneously racing for your own life while also trying to help teammates through blocking, drafting, and other racing strategies. The winning team is determined by which ever car is the first across the finish line. The mode is playable on any track in the game.

Also included in the DLC pack are five new classic cars that are playable anywhere in the game.
