Return To Age Of Conan For Double Experience, Beta Access

Developer Funcom is confused why you stopped playing Age of Conan. Regardless, the MMO wants you back. The “re-evaluation” phase lasts through November, offering players double experience and assured participation in the beta test for the publisher's upcoming MMO The Secret World.

The beta test access comes with a bit of a hitch, however. You’re required to resubscribe to Conan in order to qualify. It also appears that gamers who renew their account will receive a free copy of the expansion when it releases. Not bad, if you're into that sort of thing.

So what do you think? Are these deals enough to justify a return to the world of Hyboria, or does this smell like bait set by a desperate ex-lover willing to do anything to get you back?
