XSEED Announces Post-Apocalyptic Adventure RPG
XSEED Games announced today that the Japanese RPG developed by Namco Bandai Games and tri-Crescendo, Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, will be published in North America under the title Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. I’m not sure why that distinction is so important for Western audiences, but the game sounds pretty cool. As the protagonist, Seto, you will explore “an eerie and abandoned world, seemingly populated only by haunting ghosts and demons…and discover the back story behind scavenged items that provide insight on people’s last days before the apocalypse.”
The game is exclusively for the Wii, and will “utilize the Wii Remote as a flashlight to illuminate Seto’s surroundings, solve puzzles and interact with the environment.” I know, I know – using the Wii Remote as a flashlight isn’t exactly revolutionary, but the screens look cool, and the description doesn’t sound bad either. We’ll bring you more on the game as we approach its early 2010 release date.
