Massive LEGO Mario Being Auctioned Off For Charity

LEGO maniac Dirk VH is a snappy dresser and an amazing builder. His latest creation, a life-size Mario, consists of over 40,000 LEGO pieces, and weighs in at 110 pounds. Each piece has been glued down to prevent the structure's destruction – most likely coming from a life-size bob-omb (made of Mega Bloks, of course). If you want to add this piece to your Mario collection, Dirk is auctioning it off for charity on Ebay. In addition to the Mario sculpture, Dirk has also assembled a Halo bust (pictured below).
