Will Wright’s Next Project Could Be Just Six Month’s Away
Spore and The Sims creator, Will Wright, made a splash in April when he left EA to form his own company, Stupid Fun Club. Since then things have been fairly quiet for Wright, but in a recent interview Wright talked about how his next project could see commercial light in as little as six months.
Stupid Fun Club isn’t necessarily a game studio, but looks to be doing early research and design work for games and other toy-like products. Wright states that he is currently working on as many as three different products and wishes to keep the studio small, but will be giving a speech at the upcoming New York Toy Fair in February. Looks like we can expect more news from the video game legend early next year.
