What Could Have Been: The Flash Game

It's been a long time since we've heard anything about the video game interpretation of The Flash that now-defunct Rise of the Kasai developer BottleRocket Entertainment was working on before folding. Today, though, we've got some supposed early footage of the game leaked onto YouTube and picked up by Joystiq. Check it out after the break, but keep in mind that if this footage is legit, it's from a very early build of the now-dead game. The YouTube poster claims that the game was six months into development, with at least a year left.

I'm seeing some interesting influences here, including maybe a bit of Mirror's Edge. Alas, we'll never see whether that potential might have actually been fulfilled. Back to the comic shop for old Wally West.
