Tecmo-Koei Merger Paves Way for Ninja Crossovers

Thanks to the downright silly amount of ninjas, samurais, and various sword-wielding warriors in their respective franchises, the Tecmo-Koei merger has resulted in a pool of characters to swap between titles.

Upcoming Dynasty Warriors title Multi Raid will feature console-specific guest appearances by Ninja Gaiden's Ryu (PS3) and Warriors Orochi's Nu Wa (360). In addition, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will include costumes of Multi Raid's Sun Shang Xiang and Zhao Yun. This is all well and good, but I'm still waiting on the announcement that Bo Jackson from Tecmo Bowl will be unlockable in the new Samurai Warriors, complete with his patented Stiff Arm Frenzy Musou attack.
