A Smidge Of New Dishonored 2 Gameplay Revealed During PAX West

Harvey Smith took to the stage at PAX West to show off gameplay from Dishonored 2. The gameplay footage is from a level called the Clockwork Mansion and was already shown off during a Gamescom presentation. However, after Smith left the stage, a new level was demonstrated in a teaser called "The Conservatory."

The teaser showcased Emily making her way through the conservatory, stealthily taking out targets in a brutal manner: decapitating them. blowing them to pieces with her pistols, and slashing them to ribbons. It wasn't a long demo and it ended with our protagonist being stabbed to death by one of her foes, a female guard wearing clownish makeup and wielding a dagger.

No video recording or photography were permitted during this teaser.

The demo didn't present anything earth-shattering but it was interesting seeing Emily go up against this mysterious faction in a new library environment and we're curious to see how this antagonistic relationship plays out in the full game.
