My Ill-Fated Introduction To Dark Souls

For weeks, I've heard several Dark Souls fans excitedly discuss the notoriously-difficult RPG. From everything I heard, I assumed I'd hate the game. I'm a fan of fast-paced, constant-action games like Devil May Cry and God of War, and the strategy and unrelenting difficulty of Dark Souls sounded like something I wouldn't enjoy. At some point yesterday, I finally cracked and gave the game a shot. I grabbed Dark Souls fan Andrew Reiner as my guide, and we recorded this video of my first experience with the game.

Things start out fairly smooth, but I make a horrible mistake halfway through that results in several deaths. Will my prediction of hating the game prove correct, or will I have a change of heart after playing it? Watch below to find out.
