Fortnite's 8.20 Patch Turns The Floor To Lava

Fortnite receives its newest patch today, and changes are extensive. The biggest takeaway from version 8.20 are Floor is Lava, a timed mode where lava gradually rises from the map's lowest point, forcing players to fight on the high ground. Epic also created a new poison dart trap to surprise your foes.

The update brings bananas and coconuts that restore health and a pepper that heals you and makes you run around for a bit. Creative is receiving a few new features as well, with a creature spawner and shooting gallery. You can pour over countless other changes over on the official patch notes if you are so inclined.

If you haven't played in a few weeks, Fortnite's previous patch introduced separate pools for crossplay.
