PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds creator, lead designer, and director Brandan Greene is leaving his work on the game to head up an internal research and development division called PUBG Special Projects in Amsterdam.
"Online experiences and spaces can connect us in ways I only dreamed of when I first sat in front of a computer some 30 years ago," he said in a tweet. "And it is those dreams of connecting others that is driving out work...
"Together with a team of game developers and researchers, we will explore new possibilities of interaction and connection within the game space."
Greene didn't give any more details about PUBG Special Projects, but the team is hiring.
For more from Greene, check out our interview with him where he talks about creating the game, his dev history, and more.
