Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct Announced For August 8
Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will get its own Direct this coming Wednesday, August 8.

Details are sparse, but this is like the sixth Smash Bros. Direct ever and the second for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the upcoming Switch fighter, so it's fair to say the structure shouldn't be too unpredictable. Director Masahiro Sakurai will once again be presenting the Direct, which he tends to do for the games.
The Direct will air at 10:00 a.m. ET and 7:00 a.m. PDT, so set your alarm clocks early. It is a worldwide Direct, which is usually done for new announcements, so it would not be surprising to see something new for the game revealed.
