Mafia III
Last week, 2K Games teased the first image from Hangar 13’s inaugural game, Mafia III. There was plenty to glean from it, but now we have a trailer that delivers critical information about the title’s setting, character, and basic setup. If you’re ready to dive into the world of the Italian mob again, be prepared to see things from a different perspective.
Watch the clip below to learn more about the game’s new hero, Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam vet who comes back home to New Orleans in 1968 only to have everything ripped away from him. As the Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” plays on the radio, Lincoln breaks down just how the Italian mob messed up when it decided to double-cross his family.

There’s a significance to the figures who appear at the end of the trailer to help Lincoln dispose of his captured bound-and-gagged mafia goon, too. They’re Lincoln’s lieutenants, and as players work to eradicate the Italian mafia’s influence on the city, they can choose to reward the trio with their own territories and strongholds. It’s a deadly balance, however, as egos and alliances tend to be fragile.
