Yakuza Kiwami Coming To The West This August

Yakuza 0 brought the long-running series to a new crop of players, telling the backstory of antihero Kazumi Kiryu. That momentum could continue in August, with the release of Yakuza Kiwami, an HD remaster of the original PS2 game.

The title features updated visuals, as well as completely re-recorded dialogue featuring the voice cast from the original 2005 release. Players will also be able to check out new content, including about 30 minutes of new cutscenes.

Look for Yakuza Kiwami on PlayStation 4 on August 29.

Our Take
I loved Yakuza 0, and I'm eager to revisit the underworld again. The fact that this remaster is priced at $29.99 only makes it more enticing.
