New Mirror's Edge Coming "When It's Ready"

EA wrapped up its E3 presser with the announcement that a new Mirror's Edge game is in production.

The trailer showed heroine Faith doing what she does best – freerunning through the stylized environments and bashing goons' faces in. The action was interspersed with footage of her getting her arm and face tattoos, perhaps indicating that we're looking at a prequel to the 2008 cult favorite. 

The trailer ended with cryptic release window of "when it's ready." Considering how patient fans have been, they're used to waiting.
