The Rock Takes On The WWE 2K14 Box Art
The Rock didn't have the greatest night of his life yesterday, losing the WWE title from challenger John Cena at Wrestlemania. That doesn't mean fans have seen the last of the grappler/action hero. He'll be gracing the cover of 2K Games' upcoming WWE 2K14, for one thing.
Stephanie McMahon, the WWE's executive vice president of creative, tweeted the news before last night's event. Even though the Rock wasn't able to pull out a victory (it wasn't in the script cards), he remains one of the most popular figures in professional wrestling. Putting him on the cover is a safe bet, but considering that WWE 2K14 marks the first time that 2K Games is publishing the Yukes-developed game since acquiring the rights from the now-defunct THQ, it's a smart one.
