New Mega Man Legends In The Works?

Consider this the rumor that just won't die. There's been a lot of speculation these days about what's next for Mega Man, with one of the loudest rumblings being that a new Mega Man Legends game is in the works. According to Mega Man fansite Rockman Corner, there may be something to them. According to a tipster known as The Shadow (ooooooooooooooooooh!), a Mega Man Legends sequel is in development. Details beyond that are scarce, including what the thing may even be called. The Shadow says that more details will likely come out once Mega Man Universe is released.

While it's certainly easy (and prudent) to be skeptical of these sorts of things, the tipster has a decent track record. In the past, the Shadow leaked the existence of Mega Man 9 a few months before it was officially announced, including some key details about the game. Hmmmm...
