Force Unleashed Preorder Bonus Looks Like Hilariously Awesome Fan Fiction

by Jeff Cork on Jul 21, 2010 at 03:58 AM

Star Wars The Force Unleashed II is coming out in October, but folks who plan ahead and preorder it get access to something special: a new character skin. It’s not just any new character skin, though.

GameStop Excecutive: We would like to give away a preorder bonus for the Force Unleashed II.

LucasArts Executive: Great! We’ve been cooking up something cool for you.

GameStop Excecutive: Do you mind sharing? I’m a very busy guy or something.

LucasArts Executive: Just a second. Norm?

Norm: Yeah?

LucasArts Executive: This is Norm. He’s our loremaster. Norm, tell him about the bonus.

Norm: OK. Remember Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace? He was really cool and he had horns and face tattoos and a double-headed lightsaber but he got cut in half and fell down this weird mechanical hole but what if Darth Vader recovered his remains somehow during a routine survey and cloned Darth Maul with his secret apprentice Starkiller on Kamino and he made some wicked dude that he called Maulkiller and he was like the best of both of those characters with two lightsabers and a bunch of tattoos WOULDN’T THAT BE AWESOME AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?

GameStop Executive: Got it.

In addition to Maulkiller, customers who preorder the game get access to a special silver saber crystal that, in addition to being a cool-looking silver, also lets players use less force energy when they use force powers.

Wait a second. If Call of Duty is this generation’s Star Wars, what does that make The Force Unleashed? Head…spinning.
