Driver: San Francisco Evades Holiday Season
It looks like Tanner is going to have an extra couple of months to languish in his coma. According to today's press release, Ubisoft is delaying Driver's release into early 2011. The culprit? The "competitive market at Christmas." But is the first quarter of 2011 a safer bet?
With games like Bulletstorm, Dead Space 2, and Red Faction: Armageddon all slated for a Q1 release (not to mention the 3DS and its first round of games), Driver may be racing headlong into some stiff competition. Then again, with Gran Turismo 5 slated for a November release date, Ubisoft's plan makes a good deal of sense.
