Gran Turismo 5 Has Release Date!
We never thought it would happen, but it appears that Polyphony Digital's endlessly delayed racing opus Gran Turismo 5 has been given a release date. Specifically, its coming out on November 2nd of this year in the U.S. and Latin America. And, as Sony's Jack Tretton revealed at the company's E3 press conference, its going to be fully playable in 3D. Both game modes will come in full on one Blu-ray disc.
In its long development cycle, the game has added an abundance of features including NASCAR racing and content from the popular show Top Gear, which were both shown in the video played at the conference. And, to be frank, this thing has looked graphically amazing every step of the way. We honestly can't wait to see it in 3D. Racing fans, start counting the days until November 2.
