EA Sports Adds Five More MMA Fighters To Roster
And the hits keep coming. EA Sports has announced five more additions to its EA Sports MMA roster, bringing the total number of known fighters up to 32. The new fighters include former WEC and IFC welterweight champion Nick Diaz; DREAM veteran Marius Zaromskis; former UFC fighter Joe Riggs; kickboxer Melvin Manhoef; and former WWE star and current TNA grappler Bobby Lashley, who's currently 4-0 in MMA.
In addition to the roster update, EA has also announced that visitors to the game's official site will be able to watch a nontelevised preliminary card fight between Jay Hieron and Joe Riggs this Saturday at 9 p.m. EST. Since the fight won't be broadcast, the only way you'll be able to see it is by either attending the match in Miami or by parking in front of your computer.
