Killer is Dead
Love him or hate him, it's hard to deny that Suda 51 has style. Coming off his zombie-fighting cheerleader adventure, Lollipop Chainsaw, the mad mastermind's Grasshopper Manufacture has revealed a bit more about Killer is Dead. This latest meander through Suda 51's mind puts players in the role of Mondo, a government-employed killer.
The trailer below (set to Wagner's "Flight of the Valkyries") only casually hints at the game's plot, in which the Earth is stolen. Mondo and his employer, Bryan, feature prominently along with a glimpse of the protagonist's powers. We've come to expect tons of blood and over-the-top action from Grasshopper Manufacture, and it appears that Killer is Dead will not disappoint. Despite the sparseness of plot information, the 90 seconds featured do give a sense of the stylized aesthetic (not entirely different from No More Heroes) and the type of combat on offer.
XSEED Games will deliver Killer is Dead this summer.
