Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy

Before it was just the duo of Layton and Luke it was a trio with the addition of Professor Layton's assistant, Emmy Altava. You can catch up on her back-story here.

She is much more physical than her partners, willing to give chase whenever necessary, and throw a punch when puzzle solving isn't enough. She also likes to take pictures.

She plays an important role in the prequel trilogy of Layton games, but is nowhere to be seen the follow-up trilogy that begins with The Curious Village. Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, which releases on February 28 for 3DS, may explain why.
