Corpse Party
The quirky horror Corpse Party series is a cross between visual novel and adventure game. Despite the sprite-based visuals, Corpse Party tells a wonderfully creepy story.
If you don’t have a PSP or Vita, the series probably coasted under your radar. You can remedy that on April 25 on PC or this summer on 3DS.
The PC version is a direct localization of the version released in Japan. It will include an additional story (on top of the four found in the PSP and 3DS releases) from Corpse Party: Book of Shadows. This edition will be priced at $14.99.
The 3DS version will be available digitally for $29.99 and in a retail collector’s edition for $49.99. The physical version includes figurines of two of the characters (Naomi Nakashima and Seiko Shinohara) and a soundtrack. The 3DS version will feature redrawn character sprites and four extra chapters.
