  • That's one sweet tat. Got any more?
  • Yep, they all play the necissary role of the greedy corporations, and anyone who calls out the other systems as such is painfuly ignorant of the big picture.
  • lol sorry i forgot which issue this was concerning the gears of war or FF13 >.> sigh busy day.
  • no ill insert no such foot into my mouth. a game can sell tons and still not be as good as the orginal. heck sonic the hedgehog for 360 and ps3 hit platinum status early on and is looked on by many as one of the worst sonic 3d games out there. sales are not all that make the game.
  • Nice tattoo, oh and WTF! 60359 gamerscore or points or whatever. You are amazing. I think I have like 3000 ... lol so sad
  • true on the exclusives. it would be nice to have most games on all platforms, but that will never happen. i just think that if valve is not directly tied to MS, then they should give Sony a shot. i know Bungie was directly tied in and therefore lost Halo to become independent. hopefully Valve doesn't make the same mistake with portal 2 as they did with the Orange Box if they decide to release for the ps3 and give it to ea to publish. they would have a lot to gain by developing for the PS3 and would probably be welcomed by most gamers. any thoughts on God of War 3? on my way to the midnight release in about an hour to pick it up.
  • I don't think I'll be able to get on again tonight, but if I end up doing so, I'll join up.
  • Well, my mic screwed up last night. So yeah, it would've been better if I could hear what was going on.
  • I'm all good...lol. Just get pissed when people put stupid comments like that on games that they prolly know nothing about..... And that cig did help lmao.... haha my bad ill take it as a joke next time.
  • hey, here's that video i was telling you about http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/playback/playback-92/1376452
  • sorry bout the mix up with the quintuple thing. they must have removed that article about UK 360's, oh well. it's gonna be scattered and debatable because some people have been through 2-3 systems and like you said without everyone having a warranty they can never get a true number. i have had no prob with my second one though(i dont play it online much as you can tell from my bio). valve does need to more games like portal though hence portal 2, because that is the one game from them that i couldnt stop playing(man i loved the end boss fight). i just think that in todays age unless you have blizzard (WoW really isnt that great to me)in your name you need to develop games for all consoles unless you are directly ties to the console itself. i know thats never gonna happen but you can still have exclusives but the 360 is obviously a developers dream to work with because it closely resembles the pc format for games, and the ps3's power will hopefully persuade more titles. valve need to get familiar with sony, i just think that they either dont wanna bother with it, dont have the manpower or they saw ea's port of the orange box and said f*** it, or they just cant. ima check out them articles later on and see if i cant find that UK vid.
  • I just may have to do exactly that. This whole situation has enduced a good deal of hilarity.
  • one more thing, i am not bashing microsoft and their exclusive games, they have some great games out, but right now sony (to me) has the better line up recently. and for online multiplayer yes vavle did a great job with steam, but lets not forget about battle.net in '99 or so
  • "Making consecutive posts to append a previous comment is generally frowned upon. Please use the edit button inside of the options menu on your post to change anything or to add anything." -Site Rules. but yet you said "quintuple post ,yes it is a word" and frowned upon is not against site rules, they are just letting people know how other people may feel about it. me? i have no problem with it. post all you want. i am not bashing microsoft as a company, the first xbox build quality was great. and yes i have read, heard and seen reports OTHER than gaming sites. yahoo has a video section which reports to consumers about the 360 in the UK having a 64% failure rate. yeah 64. i am bashing xbox about the 360. i expected a lot more from microsoft being an industry leader and all. not once did i say the ps2 was excusable for their build quality, i simply stated that the information now is more widely spread about gaming and thats why the 360 RROD is more famous than the disc read error of the ps2. use your search engine and look up some more sites for failure rate percentages. ive seen the ps3 as high as 17%. now i havent looked around nor intend to look at every site about that but yes on a news station microsoft did in fact report higher than 50%. the issue is fixed so they say as did sony for the YLOD. ok so steam is huge and they may have popularized online gaming but my opinion is that they are undertalented by todays standard. 5 yrs ago they were the cream of the crop, but every game plays exactly the same, a tried and true control scheme but getting very old. kinda like fallout 3 might as well been oblivion. i also said i liked portal and wish they would bring it to the ps3 but they will not because right now they do not have knowledge of the system. so to me in the last 5 yrs infinity ward and bungie has redefined online gaming because all people knew before that was steam. we want fresh new ideas not the same play over and over again. dice is making a case for itself being re-established as an industry leader. oh by the way, my xbox copped out 2 months into me getting it i played thru 2 titles, halo 3 and gears of war and was halfway into another title when it went. i have had no problems since and countless hours with no problem and my ps3. but many gamers arent upset about how microsoft handles it just the fact that they are out of a gaming system for 2-4 weeks because it failed. do some more research than one site and i look forward to your response.
