It's totally competitive. Unlike MW, where it's a competition of who-saw-who first, L4D2 requires coordination with allies in order to set up opening for your friends or capatilize on openings provided for you. L4D>MW2.

5 campaigns, all story connected. Awesomely competitive multiplayer. More intelectual capability required than MW2. So it still remains FACT.
