Warhammer 40,000: Regicide

Warhammer 40,000: Regicide is headed to Steam Early Access on May 5, and the team at Hammerfall Publishing is celebrating with a look at the opening cinematic from the game. The video shows off a look at an increasingly disturbed character as he narrates the strange whispering voices  he’s hearing while on an alien planet.

Regicide aims to blend strategic gameplay with cinematic presentation for a new take on the long-running 40K universe. The single-player campaign includes 50 story missions following a group of space marines that come to the planet Hethgar Prime, only to uncover a series of strange transmissions.

Hammerfall plans to slowly pull back the curtain on the campaign over the course of the Early Access period. The team also plans to eventually provide cross-platform multiplayer between PC and the eventual mobile version.
