Super Smash Bros. Brawl User Review

Since it's first appearance on the Nintendo 64 console Super Smash Bros. has been unquestionably one of the best party games there was at that time. Then it moved on to Super Smash Bros. Melee where it really started making waves which created all the anticipation for the latest game in this series Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is unquestionably THE best game in the whole series due to it's variety in characters and levels and of course the ability to make your own stages.

Basically, what Nintendo did was update everything in the best way possible. If you compare Brawl's graphics to Melees graphics you will see a major difference.

When I said update everything in the best way possible I meant it but sadly in the controller area it fails 50% but is saved by it's compatability with GameCube and the Classic Controller which I strongly recommend because the horizontal Wii remote is completely horrendous as is the Wii and Nunchuk. One thing however that may bother hardcore gamers is that alot of the victories are of pure luck not skill. Button mashing is one of the main reasons because that's basically all you do to eliminate your opponents but that's not to say that it isn't an amazing game to play.

Brawl is without a doubt one of the best party games you could possibly have and stands out among other titles on the Wii. It is guaranteed to have your friends huddled around their TV's until the wee hours of the morning. This is primarily due to it's entertainment and high replay value that it offers. Even after all the time i've had it I still play and you i'm going to keep going to until I can't play it anymore cause of all the scratches. That's the kind of replay value Super Smash Bros. Brawl offers.

Like every other game Brawl does indeed have it's flaws mainly found in the online area. At first the online had TERRIBLE lag that was luckily fixed later after its release. But that wasn't the only flaw in the online. I'm sure all Wii gamers are familiar with and constantly annoyed by Wii Friend codes but you have to look at it both ways so really it's not that much of a problem.

If you're looking for a great party game then this is a near perfect fit. Super Smash Bros. Brawl guarantees loads upon loads of unlockables that will keep you playing for years to come.
