Shadows of the Damned

When gaming luminaries Suda51 (No More Heroes) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil) get together, people take notice. Particularly when the game the pair is working on is as vivid looking as Shadows of the Damned.

Demon Hunter Garcia Hotspur is on a mission to save his girlfriend from Hell, and in the process he uses his handy torch in this third-person action title. Apart from battling the darkness (which is its own gameplay element) with the torch, it also turns into weapons like a shotgun, a pistol, and a machine gun.
