Resident Evil
Capcom might not have a new Resident Evil game to announce, but the company is doing the next best thing. The Gamecube-exclusive Resident Evil REmake released in 2002 is getting an HD update with release on four new consoles.
The new version of the game affectionally called REmake by fans will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3 in 2015. The title will support 1080p on both new-generation consoles, along with remastered 5.1 sound across all platforms.
Both classic 4:3 ratio and 16:9 widescreen modes are available. Additionally, Capcom is including traditional series “tank” controls and an updated scheme that allows players to move in the direction of the thumbstick. Interested in the source material?
