Ratchet & Clank Will Be Playable At E3, See It In Action Now

Today we get our first look at Insomniac's return to Ratchet & Clank's beginning. A new trailer bills the game as based on the upcoming movie, which is based on the game series.

The "re-imagining," as Insomniac terms it, includes elements of the original blended with updated controls, new planets, more opportunties for Clank to get in on the action, more enemies, and more bosses.

Insomniac and the Ratchet & Clank series are known for fun and inventive armaments. The loadout for the upcoming PlayStation 4 title is largely new. You might have noticed a couple in the trailer above, like the Pixelizer.

Those that pre-order will get a returning weapon, the Bouncer. This gun shoots out an explosive that releases homing missiles upon detonation. Ratchet & Clank (the movie) will be out on April 29, 2016. The game will be out sometime in spring 2016.
