Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

The Pokémon Company is loading the upcoming remakes of Pokémon Sapphire and Ruby with mega evolutions. Two more have been revealed, with Steelix and Glalie getting a boost.

When Steelix evolves, its defense is increased and it picks up the Iron Tail move. Paired with the Sand Force ability (increases rock-, ground-, and steel-type power by 30 percent), the Iron Tail is devastating.

Glalie is an ice-type that gets a boost to speed, attack, and special attack when it mega evolves. It earns two new moves in its mega form.

Refrigerate turns normal moves into ice moves. Sheer Cold has the power to knock some enemies out in one hit.

Glalie is available in the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo. If you catch one, you can transfer it to the full game via Pokémon Link when the two different versions come out on 3DS on November 21.
